CLEVELAND, May 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CBIZ, Inc. (NYSE: CBZ) today announced that it has acquired Ichthus Consulting, Inc (ICON) of Montgomery, Alabama, effective May 1, 2007.

Founded in 1998, ICON provides billing services, practice management and consulting services to more than 300 anesthesia and pain management providers primarily in the southeastern United States. ICON works predominantly with anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA's) practicing in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio and Tennessee and recorded approximately $5.6 million in revenue during 2006. ICON will be merged into the Company's Medical Management Professionals division, CBIZ MMP, which recorded $117.0 million in revenue in 2006, and will be renamed MMP ICON.
